Their wide range of solutions serve both companies (over 70% of FTSE companies) and individuals (25% of the UK’s population). And you know what? One of their core components will be developed in Krakow, as the company is setting up a brand new office here.

We are looking for a talented Test Automation Analyst who will join Agile Scrum team and will be required to manage the whole test cycle from test planning, scripting, execution, automation, and reporting through to delivery.

 Core Duties/Responsibilities:

• An active participant in sprint planning activities
• Risk assessments to provide guidance for proposed test coverage
• Be aware of the budgetary constraints and the business commercials for a delivery to analyse when enough testing has taken place while assessing the risks
• Writing of test scenarios for use in Behavioural Driven Development and test data
• Setting up and maintaining local and shared test environments in coordination with technical services
• Implementing scheduled tests, executing tests, evaluating the results and documenting any deviations from expected results
• Support the wider team with clarifications and queries
• Defect retesting, fault reviews and defect analysis of any issues raised by customers
• Fully understand how all aspects of their work integrates with the rest of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Continuously develop a professional, technical and commercially aware approach
• May be required to contribute to the production of user guides and release notes

Requirements:

• Strong experience in testing Java applications
• Comfortable constructing simple SQL queries for test setup and validations
• Some experience with continuous integration practices and tools
• Experience of automated testing frameworks
• Knowledge of test design and execution principle
• Can work closely with a scrum team from kick-off to delivery
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Able to quickly learn about a complex business domain
• Strong problem solving abilities
