We’re looking for am Android Developer to join a Team in Krakow. The Company is providing a complex solution that helps shopping malls to grow their revenues. The product is about integrating all digital touch points in a shopping mall with a powerful data management and loyalty platform built specifically to cater for the needs of shopping mall owners and operators. It is the most advanced and reliable solution available on the market. They have offices in the US, Asia and Europe (80 people in total, 20 in the office in Krakow) and still growing.

Essential Responsibilities:

Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
Design, build and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Kotlin and Java code
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

Basic qualifications:

Proficiency in programming Kotlin, good understanding of Java
Familiarity with design patterns, especially MVP (MVVM is a plus)
Experience in Retrofit, OkHttp, RxJava2
Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications (Firebase)
Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
A knack for benchmarking and optimization
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins)
Good command in spoken and written English
