Their wide range of solutions serve both companies (over 70% of FTSE companies) and individuals (25% of the UK’s population). And you know what? One of their core components will be developed in Krakow, as the company is setting up a brand new office here.

We are looking for a talented Test Automation Engineer (C#) who will join a team in Krakow.

Core Duties/Responsibilities:

• To automated testing of The Retirement Account (TRA) solution
• Support the designing and creating test scripts, frameworks and strategies
• To work closely with various partners to develop and mature the test automation function within the department
• Collaborate with all areas of IT and Business Change to support the delivery of high quality software

• Working Pattern – 9 – 5 Mon/Fri. Additional ad-hoc working would be required to meet any urgent project deliverables

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

 Qualifications

Any of the following would be an advantage:

• ISEB/ISTQB Software Testing Foundation/Practitioner certificate
• AST BBST Foundation course
• ISEB Intermediate/ISTQB Advanced Test Automation

Knowledge and experience

• Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, DOM, XML, SOAP/REST
• Experience delivering automated test solutions for large complex projects
• Proven track record of learning new toolsets in short timescales
• 3+ years testing and/or software development experience
• Agile project methodology experience

Skills

• Developing re-useable class libraries using C#
• Scripting with Microsoft Visual Studio CodedUI
• Scripting with HP QTP/UFT would be beneficial
• Integration with / testing of third party APIs and Services
• Performance testing (ideally using Visual Studio Ultimate)
• SQL scripting
• VB Script
• Ensuring software is developed in line with existing and future technologies
• Drive continuous improvements in testing approaches
• Ability to demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Champion the adoption of new technologies to improve productivity and quality
• Able to juggle multiple priorities, using own initiative and motivation to meet deadlines and set priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Must be pro-active, adaptable and results-driven, organised, detail-focused and accurate
