We’re looking for an open-minded DBMS Developer to join a company that is making green easier for customers. You’ll work in Krakow in cooperation with the teams in Germany and the UK. The product you’ll develop is a billing platform for green energy users. Ready to apply?
On this position you will responsible for:
- Deliver high quality, efficient, defect-free Oracle database code, following the best practices and industry standards
- Strong analytical skills with the tend to the continuous improvement of the underlying software and processes around
- Close work with Business Analysts to ensure that the design and testing approach meets business requirements
- Functional problem investigation, solution design, and resolution
- Take a very involved role in the various agile activities, including leading planning and estimating sessions and reporting progress to their assigned project lead and/or project manager
- Lead design and code reviews and be accountable for the actions taken from these sessions, seeing them through to implementation as agreed
This position is for you if:
- You great know oracle database full life cycle development including data modelling, database architecture, SQL and PL/SQL development, unit testing and support (Oracle 11g, 12c)
- You have strong database design principles (normalization, indexing, and partitioning)
- You are able to optimization and tuning SQL queries to maximize speed and scale
- You have a minimum of 3 years’ experience developing applications using Oracle PL/SQL and SQL
- You have experience with version control systems, e.g. SVN, Git
- You have a working knowledge of Linux operating systems and some exposure to shell scripting
- You have experience working within agile frameworks, e.g. Scrum
- You have English at least at B2 level
- You have the ability to work independently and in a team
- You have the ability to work under pressure
- You have excellent communication and organizational skills
