We’re looking for a System Administrator to join a team in Katowice. The company has offices all around the world e.g. Netherlands, United States, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, Argentina, Brazil. They help other companies to grow by providing Cloud connectivity solutions, mainly using Salesforce.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Higher-level education, at least 3 years of relevant working experience;
- Linux (LFCE/LFCS or RHCSA/RHCE),
- Cisco (CCNP/CCIE) certified;
- Knowledge of Fortinet firewall solutions,
- Good knowledge of networking and network protocols;
- Knowledge of VOIP / SIP and mobile technologies is beneficial;
- Experience working in an end-user facing technical role which requires excellent written and oral communications skills and the ability to deal effectively with people at all levels and in different situations;
- Strong analytical skills with proven problem-solving ability;
- Proven ability to operate in high-pressure situations, successfully handle multiple competing priorities and possess a high level of discipline while displaying a high degree of flexibility and professionalism;
- Experience with cloud hosting technologies like Amazon AWS is beneficial;
- Experience with cloud-based applications like Office 365 and Salesforce is beneficial;
- Ability to develop clear and concise documentation;
- Pro-active/self-starter, capable to work with minimal supervision;
- “Can-do” attitude
- Good command of English.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support for both hardware and software related issues our users encounter;
- Implement structural improvements, new technologies, services, and processes;
- Manage company’s workstations, servers, equipment, and office network infrastructure;
- Execute ITIL processes like incident-, change- and problem management;
- Manage the availability of our IT systems and services, which are Windows and Linux based;
- Have the capability & willingness to take ownership of our day2day IT operations;
- Manage backup and restore management;
- Respond to and resolve Service Requests and Incidents;
- Keep systems and applications up to date;
- Administer infrastructure, systems & processes pro-actively;
- Initiate & participate in multi-disciplinary IT projects;
- Be part of the on-call schedule.
