Their wide range of solutions serve both companies (over 70% of FTSE companies) and individuals (25% of the UK’s population). And you know what? One of their core components will be developed in Cracow, as the company is setting up a brand new office here.

We are looking for a System Analyst who will be working closely with other analysts, testers, and developers, designing and building together a rich browser app backed by a microservices architecture. You will be using your modern software design and development skills, together with product and domain knowledge, to produce designs for the web front end application. It is an exciting time as you will be an integral part of producing the next generation of applications and services.
Responsibilities
- To support the system analysis, design, and development
- To work closely with other analysts, developers and 3rd party solution providers to identify, translate and communicate designs to the development team
- Run sprint planning and support the developers and testers throughout the sprint
- Use tools such as Postman/SOAP UI to analyze and test APIs
- Participate in workshops with stakeholders to understand and discuss business requirements which will feed into designs and build on product knowledge
- Analyze systems by evaluating and interrogating underlying data
- Critically evaluate, challenge & analyze the information gathered and apply this to best practice design concepts
- To ensure that the design principles are adhered to and solution components are reused wherever possible
- To participate, promote and support others in undertaking learning and development activities.
- To ensure that quality improvement and treating customers fairly is the norm and to seek ways to improve service and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications
Ideally, an ISEB recognized certification in system analyst or equivalent experience
Knowledge
- Able to demonstrate a high level of experience in translating business requirements into technical designs for developers to implement
- Experience of working within an Agile project methodology
- Progressed in their career via a development background
- Experience of creating API web service and microservice design specifications
Thorough understanding of the following concepts and technologies:
- Application integration –Web API / SOAP /RESTful APIs
- XML and JSON
- SQL Server 2008 onwards
- No SQL Database technologies for example MongoDB
- Integration with backend administration systems
An understanding of the following concepts and technologies:
- Continuous integration – GIT, TeamCity
- Automated testing
- Software development and delivery – C#, ASP.NET
- Web UI and UX – HTML 5, CSS and JavaScript
Skills
- Experience of leading the delivery of IT solutions having worked closely with Analysts and Developers to ensure that the technical design of the solutions are aligned to the overall technology roadmap and meets the business needs
- Experience with application, integration and database technologies. Ideally with detailed knowledge of web application frameworks and Microsoft technologies
- Ability to demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills including persuasive, influencing, motivational and negotiation skills, at all levels including executive level
- Ability to effectively present complex and contentious information in a way that is understood at all levels
- Able to juggle multiple priorities, using own initiative and motivation to meet deadlines and set priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Must be pro-active, adaptable and results-driven, organized, detail-focused and accurate
- A Financial Services background with broad coverage of all business areas
- Ability to operate at all levels within the organization and maintain interdepartmental relationships to support a close culture of cooperation and collaboration.
